| Placement Foundation targets: |
- In branches with a shortage of specialist personnel, the Placement Foundation offers companies an opportunity to have the employees they need trained to their requirements.
- At the same time, the Placement Foundation furnishes job seekers with a qualification and guaranteed employment after training.
Target Groups
- For companies that intend to offer future employment via the Placement Foundation to persons recruited jointly with the Upper Austrian Job Service (AMS) once these have been trained.
- For participants, who are listed as unemployed by the AMS, were not employed by a training company in the past twelve months and are interested in targeted training and further training that is in demand in the labour market.
The company provides the Upper Austrian AMS with details concerning its skilled labour requirements.
- New employees are selected with the company from the circle of persons listed by the AMS Upper Austria as seeking employment.
- The company selects its future employees, if required with the support of the Placement Foundation.
- Training plans are drawn up for the future employee in line with company requirements.
The selection and training of the participants is completed within the framework of an employment foundation. As a rule, trainees receive educational unemployment benefit from the AMS.
The Upper Austrian government finances 75 per cent of the training costs up to an amount of EUR 1.850. The company pays any remaining training expenses along with a grant to the future employee and a monthly sum of approximately EUR 400-500 to the Placement Foundation for organizational costs.
