Location Marketing Business Area	Business location and location development As a one-stop shop, TMG offers free consulting and support to both national and international companies during business locations, the movement of operations and corporate expansion in Upper Austria. 1. Support and consulting during company locations   Search for suitable property (é.g. by means of a comprehensive location information system on the web, which provides a rapid overview of free real estate and business objects) Completion of official approval procedures Grants and financing Employee recruiting and training Co-operation partner searches (companies, R&D bodies) 2. Securing of real estate and infrastructural development • Securing of commercial and industrial properties and the provision of infrastructure • Marketing and utilisation of business locations 3. Municipal and inter-communal economic consulting and industrial estate development • Advising of local government in questions of municipal economic policy • Support of location development projects involving several local authorities 4. Development, consulting and support for major Upper Austrian tourism industry projects (above all hotels, spas, etc.) Marketing for Upper Austria as a business location TMG advertises Upper Austria both domestically and internationally as the nations's leading, innovative industrial and export region. Co-ordination of Impulse Centres (Technology, Venture, Innovation and Service Centres) TMG is responsible for the co-ordination, management and promotion of co-operation at 21 Impulse Centres in Upper Austria. top
Innovation and Technology	The following tasks are undertaken in the innovation and technology business area. Management of the “Innovative Upper Austria 2010” strategic programme10 Having co-ordinated the preparation process, TMG has now assumed responsibility for the provision of support during the realisation of the “Innovative Upper Austria 2010” strategic programme. In the course of this programme, 43 initiatives and the appropriate supplementary measures are to be implemented for the province of Upper Austria and its people in the areas of R&D, professional qualifications, networks, the Upper Austrian economic and technology location and EU networking. EU-Programmes Co-ordination of the european project "CEE-ClusterNetwork - Central and Eastern European Cluster and Network Area". 11 central and eastern european regions and countries work together on coherent development of their cluster- and innovation policy. CEE-ClusterNetwork is a core member of the European Cluster Alliance - ECA.   Innovation investment management Moreover, the innovation and technology business area also incorporates the management of innovation investments. These include Upper Austrian Research (100% TMG holding), CATT Innovation Management GmbH (100% TMG holding), Education Highway GmbH (74% TMG holding) and Clusterland OÖ GmbH (61% TMG holding).
